- Caulk Remover such as 3M Caulk Remover or McKanica Silicone Caulk Remover Gel
- Utility Knife or Razor Blade for cutting caulk
- Needle-nose Pliers, helpful for pulling strings of caulk
- 5 in 1 tool for scraping and removing caulk
- Bleach for sanitizing
- Sponge
- Rag
- Isopropyl Alcohol (great for removing acrylic caulk)
- Gloves to protect your skin
Step #1: Apply caulk remover to soften the existing caulk
Step #2: Slice into caulk with utility knife or razor blade
Step #3: Pull off the remaining caulk with needle-nose plier
Step #4: Remove any remaining pieces of caulk by scraping with the 5 in 1 tool
Step #5: Clean the area with a solution of 1/3 cup bleach to gallon of water
Step #6: Rinse the area thoroughly
Step #7: Wipe the area with a clean rag and let it dry
